We're seeking to expand our capacity by adding an additional experienced Mechanical CAD Technician to our Product Development team located in Williston, Vermont. The Williston office is a R&D-focused environment supporting our international manufacturing sites with new product developments.
Responsibilities Generate CAD models of components and assemblies Generate 2D CAD detail drawings with appropriate dimensioning, tolerancing, and annotations Generate 2D CAD assembly drawings for Production Support with content creation for Production, Service, and User manuals CAD and Bill of Materials creation and maintenance with SolidWorks & SAP Collaboration in development projects Process Engineering Change Requests (ECR) Work within the requirements of internal Product Development processes Support prototype builds and functional tests Requirements Relevant technical degree or certificate Three (plus) years of relevant experience Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and finishes Knowledge of geometric tolerancing (GD&T) and ANSI Y.14 standards (ISO a plus) Proficient in the use of 3D CAD systems, preferably SolidWorks Experience with ERP and PLM systems for document, material, BOM and revisions - preferably SAP SUSS MicroTec, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
