Title: Mechanical/Validation Location: Westbrook, ME Duration: 6+ month's contract Job Description: Role is M-F, 8-5pm (flex on start time before 9am) Interview process: 2 rounds of interviews (virtual, then in person) 3-5 years of relevant experience (open to 2-7 years) Bachelors in Engineering field Open to seeing someone with 2-3 years of experience if they have a Master's degree in a related field Someone with 10 years of experience and a Masters may be overqualified for this position This is a Mechanical role - We are seeking someone with an understanding of equipment/machines without having too much info on it. They should be able to observe where things are going wrong, identify the issue and work on the resolution.

This is a regulated environment. Candidate will execute and write protocols, will need to have a background in SOPs, technical writing and documenting control systems. There is heavy use of document control systems in this role.

Programs used: MS Word, Excel, Projects. MiniTab (statistical tab), autoCad Regulated environment: Experience in the FDA realm is great (automotive, aerospace, etc) Familiar with these types of devises: Linear motors, service drivers. Day to day: This role is validation heavy.

If we make a change, we spend 2-3 times more validating the change, writing and modifying documents. Protocols that are best to have as a root of their style Top skills: Self-motivated - not having to be micro managed. Technical competencies - validation experience.

Statistics based (sense of Minitab or Lean6 sigma or Greenbelt certification). Mechanical - if they can walk into worked with: OQ, TMV, IQs and PQs Plus: If someone has root cause analysis something they don't understand from an automation point of view, observe it and diagnose the issue that would be ideal Candidates: we are seeking local candidates first.
