The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following: Utilizing AutoCAD and Inventor for designs Designing custom metal cutting machines from concept through completion Designing bases and integrating components into them Designing sheet metal Designing gearing Selecting bearings Designing assemblies and subassemblies Working with bills of material The background of the successful candidate must include the following: A four year degree in mechanical engineering Three or more years of metal cutting machine design experience A solid work history A US citizen or possess a green card A residence within 45 minutes.
