Job Title: JNCIE Engineer Duration: 6 Months Contract Location: Onsite in Raleigh-Durham, NC We have an opportunity available for a skilled JNCIE Engineer to join our team. As a JNCIE Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing network infrastructure solutions, particularly focusing on Juniper technologies. Key Responsibilities: Routing Migration: Designing a new eBGP network in collaboration with CLIENT infrastructure staff, understanding routing requirements and future directions.

Building and validating a scalable BGP network design, accommodating multiple vendors in a common IP space. Assisting in integrating multiple vendors into the edge network design and providing comprehensive documentation and diagrams. Implementing and testing new edge network design in a lab environment before deployment to production. 2.

Core Network Architecture: Collaborating with external consultants to devise and implement a new leaf and spine architecture for the core L3 network. Developing migration strategies and deployment plans for transitioning to the new architecture. Deploying new Juniper routers in the test lab and ensuring proper operation before production deployment. 3.

Documentation, Training, and Support: Documenting all deployments and challenges encountered, providing comprehensive training to CLIENT infrastructure staff. Cross-training staff on the new network design and providing one-week training sessions for CLIENT IS Infrastructure on management and design of the new L3 core architecture. Providing training on system security plan development and requirements for both infrastructure and security staff. 4.

Datacenter Design and Deployment: Collaborating with CLIENT to design and deploy a new core and datacenter switching infrastructure. Conducting stress and failure testing in a POC environment and integrating it with the production environment. Configuring Juniper Apstra appliances and providing training on monitoring application usage and tuning strategies 5.

Juniper Apstra Deployment: Deploying Juniper Apstra solutions and providing comprehensive documentation and training to CLIENT staff. General Skills: Experience with Juniper technologies is highly desirable. Additional Requirements: Active JNCIE certification is mandatory.
