Position: Controls Engineer We are currently seeking a Controls Engineer to join our team. The Controls Engineer will be responsible for evaluating, troubleshooting, and implementing manufacturing process controls for various programs manufactured in-house, including OEM equipment.

The role involves developing algorithms to control devices, providing controls engineering support across the plant, and offering engineering support to the facility. Responsibilities: 2. Evaluate, troubleshoot, and develop designs for manufacturing process controls to ensure high quality, productivity, and cost efficiencies. 4. Develop algorithms to control devices and provide controls engineering support plant-wide. 6.

Support the Quality Department on customer issues and during customer concerns. 8. Guide process engineering and maintenance technicians to minimize downtime and drive continuous improvement. 10. Justify standards changes and maintain backup program communications and downloads. 12.

Follow procedures and corrective action assignments to eliminate or reduce PPMs. 14. Provide recommendations on technological advancements in controls engineering. 16. Troubleshoot data software interface systems. 18.

Evaluate manufacturing control systems such as Siemens Controls, Robotics, Scanners, Cameras, AGV, SCADA, MES, etc. 20. Assure machine process quality through internal design/implementation and review of vendor controls using established standards. 22. Write and test logic to ensure error-proofing systems are functioning to design intent. 24.

Conduct research on product and process deficiencies and recommend modifications where warranted. 26. Ensure full compliance with EHS rules and regulations. 28. Assist with any additional tasks as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities: 2. Strong communication skills to interface with other functions and work with employees at all levels. 4. Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multitask. 6.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Electrical and Mechanical, multiple controls logic languages software programming, and robot programming. 8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 10. Experience with KUKA is highly preferred. 12.

Certification and/or specialized training in Controls is highly desired. Qualifications: Academic degree: Bachelor's Degree Major: Electrical or Controls Engineering preferred Language: English; Chinese is helpful Years of industry experience: 2+ preferred Years of management experience: NA Specific Knowledge & Skills: Professional knowledge and skills are required. Computer and office software skills are required.
