Client Overview A leading global manufacturer which specializes in design and manufacture of innovative products used in agricultural and industrial applications For more than 60 years, this manufacturer has expanded its business by being responsive to customers and offering a great family-oriented place to work With an extensive and growing client base delivering products to customers in more than 20 countries Based near Fargo, North Dakota, this manufacturer is recognized as one of the best places to work in the state and is proud to have been recognized by the White House receiving "E" and "E-Star" Awards for growth in exports Position Overview Develop and translate requirements into actionable designs Design viable, robust production equipment and tools which meet or exceed requirements Create project plans for automation development to meet organizational needs Manage the project life cycle Collaborate with production, manufacturing and facilities engineers to review new and updated machine designs Prepare feasibility studies to justify the purchase or building of new equipment Candidate Requirements Bachelor of Science Degree in mechanical agricultural or other engineering field More than 3 years experience of designing automation equipment, machinery or robotics systems Working knowledge of Solidworks Strong understanding of PLCs and of automation Strong interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without restrictions
