We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering Department Manager to lead our dedicated team to new heights. Job Summary: As the Engineering Department Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the functions and staff of our Engineering Department.

Your leadership will ensure the timely and precise completion of engineering aspects across all projects. You will exercise functional authority for planning, organizing, controlling, and integrating project activities in collaboration with other departments and senior management. Mentorship: Cultivate the growth of technical, organizational, and management skills within the engineering team. 4. Communication: Foster consistent and timely completion of engineering tasks through regular communication, including daily huddles. 6. Leadership: Lead the engineering team with a positive attitude aligned with our mission, vision, and core values. 8.

Program Implementation: Plan and implement engineering programs, defining project philosophy, milestones, and staff requirements in accordance with customer needs. 10. Project Oversight: Assign and oversee team members, coordinating technical studies, product design, specifications, plans, and testing, ensuring alignment with project requirements. 12. Design Review: Scrutinize product designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contracts, and specifications. 14.

Personnel Management: Recommend and initiate personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, and hires. 16. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on applied engineering information, technical knowledge, and management skills through personal study and training opportunities. Required Skills/Abilities: Proficient in product design and applications of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Familiarity with ERP and MRP systems, with Epicor experience being a plus. Knowledge of operational and financial metrics. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships. Effective supervisory and leadership skills. Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.

Analytical and problem-solving proficiency. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

Experience with Autodesk Inventor and/or AutoCAD is required. Six Sigma Certification desired. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
