Position Title: Principal Swarm Control Engineering Lead Position Duties: Design and develop advanced drone technology for use in situational awareness applications. Utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI), path planning, and collision avoidance algorithms to ensure the safe and effective operation of drone swarms.

Build applications using programming languages such as Python and C+/C. Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and other experts to develop and implement innovative solutions. Conduct research and development activities to advance state-of-the-art drone technology.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, technical reports, and patent applications. May supervise SW, Algorithm, Swarm, and AI Engineers. Position requires domestic travel up to 5%.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, or the foreign degree equivalent; and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate aerospace industry experience. Experience must include each of the following: 5 years of experience developing and deploying algorithms using Python and C+; 3 years of experience managing Research & Development (R&D) teams; 5 years of experience working with robotics and/or drone technology; 5 years of experience working with AI, discrete simulations, path planning, and collision avoidance algorithms; and 3 years of experience developing and managing aerospace/aviation projects. Experience may be gained concurrently.

Position requires domestic travel up to 5%. Position full-time, 40 hours per week, with Data Blanket Inc. in Bellevue, WA. Position requires domestic travel up to 5%.
