Job Description: Lead a team of senior-level technical support engineers. Lead complete design and implementation of a complex integrated customer project combining several technical application fields. Master technical risks and interface management and get final customer approval of the technical solution designed and delivered.

Supervise daily case work for a team of 6 engineers, monitoring case handling, customer satisfaction, case milestones and direction toward resolution of issues. Encourage and facilitate junior engineer career direction and development. Onboard, coordinate, mentor, and create tasks and projects while managing those projects hosting yearly summer 3-month interns.

Oversee customer support team operational performance. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to support customers and Line of business teams which are located in different countries around the world. Resolve the customer support cases escalated by the regional customer care centers of the Americas region, or coming from strategic customer projects execution, or directly from customers having specific services contracts.

Analyze, reproduce and solve issues customers may face during the design, commissioning and operation of their facilities. Occasionally requirement to conduct on-site investigations to determine possible reasons for the customer issue and provide technical site visit reports. Oversee the launch of new innovative offers and digital solutions during field-tests customer pilots and first projects.

Lead and or participate in transformation projects to improve the Customer support team operational performance. Telecommuting permissible up to 2 days per week. Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience (which can include experience gained prior to completion of Bachelor's degree) in industrial automation and control engineering or related occupation, including at least some experience in each of the following skills: Complex EcoStruxure Automation design and implementation; Modbus, Ethernet IP, Profibus; Industrial network protocols, including Ethernet TCP/IP, IEC 618-50; Industrial protocols, including RS 232, RS 485, and HART; Process control instrumentation, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interface (HMI); Programming Modicon M340, M580 and M580 Safety, Momentum, Premium, Quantum applications; and Automation using Schneider Electric's tools and processes (EcoStruxure Automation Device Maintenance [EADM], OFSOPC, ConneXium Network Manager [CNM]).

The following certifications are also required: EcoStruxure Grid Fundamentals; EcoStruxure Machine Fundamentals; EcoStruxure Plant Fundamentals; EcoStruxure IT Fundamentals; OPC factory tunning; and Cyber Security Best Practices. EOE. To Apply: Visit http://careers.se.com and search Req.
