Responsibilities: Provide engineering support and leadership for crane and below-the-hook device engineering and safety programs. Lead the Crane Inspection Crew and provide engineering support to maintenance and operations. Offer technical solutions to recurring design, process, and application problems.

Analyze equipment and process data to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions. Manage and implement capital projects and major repairs, providing mechanical engineering support to all manufacturing and plant areas. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited college/university.

Minimum of 5 years' engineering experience with mechanical systems, including overhead gantry cranes, facilities, and industrial infrastructure. Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years' experience with working knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles.

Experience in equipment and component failure analysis. Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software. Strong mechanical engineering skills with a focus on cranes, hoists, rigging, and lifting devices in heavy industrial environments.

Knowledge of heavy industrial equipment, including rolling mills and material handling equipment. Experience in justifying, managing, and installing capital projects. Familiarity with industry safety standards, codes, and specifications.
